1. Service and operator

FASL is a subscription streaming service owned and operated by FASL Egypt in the Arab Republic of Egypt. References to “FASL”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean FASL Egypt; “you” means the account holder or an authorised viewer.

By creating an account, starting a subscription or using the service, you accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy and the Subscription Terms below. If you do not accept them, do not use FASL.

2. Eligibility, accounts and profiles

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to open an account or purchase a subscription. A parent or legal guardian may allow minors to use an authorised profile and remains responsible for their activity.

Keep your credentials, profile PINs and devices secure. You are responsible for activity on your account except where caused by our failure or unlawful access that you promptly report. Tell us if you suspect compromise, and keep registration and payment information accurate.

• An account is personal and may not be sold, transferred or shared outside the household or viewing group allowed by your plan.
• Kids profiles provide a curated experience but are not a substitute for parental supervision.
• The plan’s simultaneous-screen limit applies across all profiles and devices.

3. Limited viewing licence

While your account is in good standing, FASL grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to stream available content for personal, non-commercial viewing in supported territories and, where your plan allows, to store protected offline copies inside the official application.

No ownership in any film, drama, microdrama, artwork, subtitle, soundtrack, brand or software passes to you. Catalogue titles, language tracks, subtitles, quality, release windows and territory availability may change because of rights, technical or editorial requirements.

4. Protected playback and acceptable use

You may not copy, record, photograph, screen-capture, screen-record, rebroadcast, publicly perform, redistribute, sell, rent, reverse engineer or bypass access controls affecting the service or its content. Direct media-file downloads are not offered.

FASL may use encryption, digital rights management, forensic or visible watermarking, device limits, output protection and other proportionate safeguards. These controls reduce misuse but no technology can guarantee that every unauthorised capture is prevented.

• Do not remove ownership notices, identifiers, watermarks or credits.
• Do not use bots, scraping, credential stuffing, automated playback or network interference.
• Do not upload malicious code, impersonate another person or use FASL for an unlawful purpose.

5. Availability, changes and suspension

We work to keep FASL available, but playback can be affected by maintenance, internet connectivity, device capability, rights restrictions and events beyond reasonable control. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may update the interface, features, applications, supported devices and catalogue. We may restrict or suspend an account where reasonably necessary for security, unpaid charges, material breach, suspected fraud, rights protection or legal compliance. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a way to challenge the decision.

6. Responsibility, governing law and changes

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits mandatory consumer remedies. To the extent permitted by law, FASL Egypt is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, business loss, or failure caused by your equipment, network or unauthorised account use.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Egyptian courts have jurisdiction, except where mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. We may update the Terms for legal, security or service reasons; material changes will be communicated in a reasonable manner before they take effect.

1. Controller and scope

FASL Egypt, Arab Republic of Egypt, is the controller of personal data processed through the FASL website, iOS application, accounts, playback services, support channels and related communications. This Policy applies to subscribers, profile viewers, visitors and people who contact us.

Depending on where you live, local law may use terms such as personal data, personal information, controller or business. We use those terms in their ordinary data-protection meaning.

privacy@fasl.nawaeurope.com is FASL Egypt’s designated privacy contact. It does not identify a named Data Protection Officer. Where appointment or registration of a Data Protection Officer is legally required, the applicable registered details will be made available through this notice or on request.

2. Data we collect

We collect information you provide, information generated by your use of FASL and limited information received from service providers.

• Account and contact data: name, email address, country, language, sign-in identifiers and account status.
• Subscription data: selected plan, billing status, renewal date, screen and quality entitlements, payment-provider customer references and transaction status. FASL does not need to store full card details when a payment provider processes them.
• Profile and preference data: profile name and avatar, maturity setting, kids-profile status, profile PIN hash, autoplay, My List, ratings and language or subtitle choices.
• Viewing data: titles browsed or played, search queries, playback position, completion, interactions, recommendations and advertising events where an ad-supported experience is available.
• Device and technical data: device and app type, operating system, browser, IP address, approximate region, session identifiers, diagnostics, security events and network performance.
• Communications: support, privacy or copyright requests and the information needed to verify and answer them.
• Indirect sources: authentication and payment providers, authorised app stores, the account holder who creates a profile, device or operating-system services, and anti-fraud or content-security partners.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We use data only where we have a lawful reason. The applicable basis depends on the feature and your location.

• Contract: create and secure your account, deliver streaming and offline entitlements, remember progress, manage profiles, bill subscriptions and provide support.
• Legitimate interests: protect content and accounts, prevent fraud and abuse, measure reliability and improve the catalogue, balanced against your rights.
• Consent: personalised recommendations, optional analytics, advertising measurement or promotional communications where consent is required. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
• Legal obligation and claims: tax and accounting records, lawful requests, regulatory duties and the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

4. Sharing and international processing

We do not sell personal data. We disclose only what is reasonably necessary to providers that help operate FASL, such as hosting, content delivery, database, security, authentication, customer-support, analytics and payment providers; to professional advisers; to rights holders for aggregated or contractually required reporting; and to public authorities when legally required.

Global providers may process data outside Egypt. The destination and transfer safeguard depend on the vendors actually configured for hosting, authentication, payment and support. Before a relevant transfer, FASL will disclose the applicable destination, implement the required contractual clauses or other safeguard, and obtain any permit or approval required by the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Center. Ask the privacy contact for current transfer information.

5. Retention and security

We retain account and viewing data while your account is active and for a proportionate period afterwards to operate the service, resolve disputes, comply with law and prevent fraud. Billing and tax records may be kept for statutory periods; support and rights requests for the time needed to evidence their resolution; and diagnostics for shorter operational periods. Data is deleted or de-identified when no longer needed.

We use access controls, encryption in transit, protected credentials, session management, logging and organisational controls appropriate to the risk. No connected service is completely secure, so you should use a unique password, protect profile PINs and report suspicious activity.

• Account and entitlement records: for the account’s life, then only as required by limitation periods, unresolved disputes, security needs or law.
• Viewing progress and preferences: until you delete them, close the account, or they are no longer needed for the feature.
• Security logs, diagnostics and performance events: short rolling periods set by incident, fraud and reliability needs.
• Consent and communication records: until the choice is changed, then for the period reasonably needed to demonstrate that the choice was honoured.
• Billing, legal and rights-request records: for the mandatory period or until the matter and any related claim are closed.

6. Your rights and children

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, update, delete, restrict or object to processing of your data, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, or complain to the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Center (PDPC) and any competent authority in your country. You may also challenge a decision based solely on automated processing if it produces legal or similarly significant effects. FASL does not intend to make such solely automated decisions.

The subscriber must be an adult. Kids profiles are designed for viewing chosen by a parent or guardian; we do not knowingly invite children to purchase a subscription or independently submit personal data. Contact us if you believe a child’s data was provided without proper authority.

1. What these technologies do

Cookies are small records stored by a browser. Mobile applications may use device storage or software development kits for similar purposes. Some are placed by FASL and others by carefully selected providers. Duration varies from a session to a limited persistent period.

2. Technology categories

• Strictly necessary: authentication, session continuity, load balancing, security, fraud prevention, subscription entitlement, privacy choices and core playback. These cannot be disabled through our preference control because the requested service would not work reliably without them.
• Personalisation: interface language, profile settings, remembered titles, recommendations and experience preferences.
• Analytics and performance: aggregated audience, playback quality, crashes, navigation and feature effectiveness.
• Advertising and measurement: ad selection, frequency, delivery and campaign reporting when FASL offers advertising. These are optional where law requires a choice.

3. Your choices

Use FASL’s privacy preferences to accept all optional categories, keep only necessary technologies, or choose categories individually. A preference is normally saved on the device and browser where it was made, so you may need to repeat it elsewhere.

You can also delete or block browser cookies and use iOS privacy controls. Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent sign-in, playback, subscription checks or saved settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

4. Provider and policy changes

The exact technologies may change as FASL improves its service or replaces providers. Before introducing a materially different optional purpose, we will update the information presented to you and request a new choice where required.

1. Plans and recurring billing

FASL monthly plans are displayed before purchase and currently range from €5.99 to €19.99, depending on available screens, quality and features. Before payment, checkout must display the total recurring price, billing currency and interval, included entitlements, and any taxes or fees that apply.

Unless identified as prepaid or non-renewing, a subscription renews automatically at the stated interval until cancelled. You authorise the payment method on file to be charged at each renewal through the relevant payment provider.

2. Trials, promotions and plan changes

Any trial or promotional eligibility, duration, renewal price and restrictions will be disclosed before enrolment. Promotions cannot be combined unless stated. If you change plans, the timing and any prorated charge or credit will be shown before confirmation.

We may change plan features or prices. We will give reasonable advance notice of a price increase and explain when it applies. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.

3. Cancellation and access

You may cancel recurring billing through Account and Subscription or the billing provider used for purchase. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the already-paid period, and you can continue viewing until then. Deleting an app or signing out does not cancel a subscription.

If you subscribed through Apple or another partner, that partner manages cancellation and billing under its own process. FASL will provide a clear route to the relevant management page where technically available.

4. Refunds and mandatory rights

Fees are generally non-refundable after the subscription period begins, except where the checkout terms, an authorised partner’s rules or mandatory law provide otherwise. Contact us promptly about duplicate charges, unauthorised transactions or a material inability to provide the purchased service.

Nothing in these terms removes a statutory withdrawal, conformity, refund or other consumer right. If European consumer law applies, you generally retain the applicable 14-day withdrawal right for a dynamic streaming subscription. A request for immediate access does not remove that right unless every legal condition is met; any proportionate charge for service supplied before withdrawal applies only where the law permits and you expressly requested early performance.

5. Failed payments and taxes

If payment fails, we or the payment provider may retry the method and ask you to update it. Access may be limited after reasonable notice while an amount remains unpaid. You remain responsible for applicable taxes or bank charges disclosed or imposed by your provider.

6. Offline viewing

Offline mode is optional and available only to members on eligible plans, titles and supported devices. A protected copy stays inside the official application; it is not a directly downloadable media file and cannot lawfully be exported or transferred.

Offline availability may expire when the subscription, licence window or device authorisation ends, or when the device must reconnect to verify entitlement. Device and download limits may apply and are shown in the product experience.

1. Platform ownership

The FASL service, brand identity, logos, original interface, software, code, layouts, motion, graphics, metadata, editorial collections, original productions and FASL-created subtitle or localisation materials are owned by or licensed to FASL Egypt and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

FASL’s wordmark, logo and visual identifiers are proprietary brand assets. No statement here claims a registration that has not been expressly identified. Your use of the service does not grant permission to use FASL branding.

2. Catalogue and third-party rights

Films, dramas, microdramas, music, artwork, performances, scripts, subtitles and other catalogue elements may be owned by FASL Egypt or by production partners and licensors. Title-specific credits and contractual rights remain with their respective owners.

Content is made available under limited viewing rights. Copying, direct downloading, capture, adaptation, translation, subtitle extraction, public exhibition, retransmission or commercial exploitation requires the relevant right holder’s prior written permission.

3. Copyright notice procedure

A right holder or authorised representative who believes material on FASL infringes copyright should email legal@fasl.nawaeurope.com with enough information for a fair and efficient review.

• Your full name, organisation, contact details and authority to act.
• Identification of the protected work and the allegedly infringing material, including the FASL title or location.
• A concise explanation of the rights claimed and the territory concerned.
• A good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorised by the right holder, its agent or law.
• A statement that the notice is accurate, supporting evidence where available, and your physical or electronic signature.

4. Review, response and counter-notice

We may request clarification, preserve relevant records, restrict material while reviewing it, notify the content supplier and take proportionate action, including removal or loss of access. We do not decide complex ownership disputes that require a court or competent authority.

A supplier who believes material was restricted by mistake may submit a counter-notice identifying the material, explaining the basis for authorised use and providing contact details, evidence and a signed accuracy statement. We may share notices between affected parties where lawful and necessary.

5. Repeated misuse and reservations

We may suspend or terminate users or suppliers who repeatedly infringe rights or misuse the notice process. False, abusive or misleading notices may create legal liability. FASL Egypt reserves all rights not expressly granted.

1. Privacy requests

Email privacy@fasl.nawaeurope.com from the address linked to your account where possible. State the right you wish to exercise, your country and enough detail to locate the relevant data. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details or unnecessary identity documents.

2. Verification and authorised representatives

To protect accounts, we may verify control of the email address or request proportionate additional information. An authorised representative must provide evidence of authority, and we may confirm the instruction directly with you where law permits.

3. Timing and outcomes

We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and respond within the period required by applicable law. Complex or multiple requests may take longer where the law allows; if so, we will explain the extension. We may refuse or charge only where legally permitted, for example for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests, and will explain available complaint routes.
